about

Thanks for tuning in!
This is the first of a few releases of archival material planned this year. All of the tracks here were performed using CD players, turntables, cassette recorders, television and radio as the only sound sources. The sampling devices were simple - only a couple of 4-second digital delays. My first live solo concerts were based on this setup.

Tracks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 were 4-track recordings, though some of them only have two different "instruments".

Track 4 is a one-take improvisation for CD player, where the skipping patterns are created entirely from tapping the rewind and fast forward keys.

Track 7 is one of a few live recordings I have from that era.
